What club is Berbatov going to be at next season then? According to bbc, he'd left before the game started

"Rumours, as yet unconfirmed it should be stressed, that Berbatov left before kick-off. If he did that's thank you and goodnight for Dimitar."

He's a bit better than Greedybayor and some of you wanted to sign him Gaddafi. Not the most economic option though i guess.

I don't know why some Spurs fans want him back after the way he treated the club

Besides the fact that he's Man Utds top scorer and still doesn't make the CL final squad is telling

Yeah, maybe, guess I'm clutching at straws, we just need a new option up front, Crouch has had plenty of opportunity this season, and hasn't repaid the faith put in him. I've been saying it all along, play Pavlyuchenko :D

I would love to have Berba back, he was a fantastic player for us and his style of play would suit our current group of players!.

Why any Spurs fan would not want him back is beyond me!

    Sheringham did the same!

If Berbatov comes back to Spurs I think you're going to have a whole load of sulk on your hands again.

Will he be truly happy if he comes back? I am worried it will be like Keane was when he came back from not making at LFC. If we could get at 8-10m then it would be worth a punt I reckon.

IF he comes back I think he would work well with VDV, I remember the game he had for us against Bolton where he played alone up front ,he was class. He would be a more skillful version of Crouch. But I think we would still need another striker, a CB and another creative MF.

Agree he's a decent like for like replacement for Crouch. and we also need antoher striker, presumably to replace Defoe who has been whining alot recently. A strong CB to partner Dawson, as King and Gallas haven't got long left, and another midfielder? If we play 4-5-1, we got our defence, then Bale on the left, Sandro holding mid, Modric also inc entre, Lennon on left, and VDV as AMC. Unless you mean as cover, do we really need 1?

CMF as cover. I am sure there is going to be some form of exodus at the Lane which may well include, Jenas and Kranjcar. If Modric gets hurt we have some solid MF, Sandro, Hudd, (O'Hara if he comes back), Palacious but we lack another quick creative CMF I'd love to see Marin but he might be too much of a winger

Ah, now i get where you're coming from. Yes, in that case, we do need another midfielder. Marko Marin is a quality player, and we can afford him I'd wager. Krancjar is on his way, from the looks of things, and I'm sure Levy will make funds avaliable to try and get us back in the CL, so someone needs to have a word with Redknapp, point out what we all seem to know

Marin would be good, as would Turan.
I would not mind Berbatov returning, I don't have to like him, just want him to score goals for us!!

Imagine if we were to sign Berbatov, Bellamy and Adebayor! <whistle>

They'd be the most hated strikeforce in the league, as most of our fans hate them, too! <laugh>
