No thanks, too close to Harry's ideal striker. Ex-Spurs, old, expensive, bad attitude, don't give a stuff about the club.

My worst nightmare...and it is being touted around the Sundays...
I was sitting near front of R block, the day we played Foolham (our first win in Prem league..in December, a Tarbs brace, I believe).... He stayed right by me for the whole half (he must have enjoyed the insults) I have never been that close to a footballer for so long.
He just stayed there waiting for the ball to be played to him, berating his own players for not delivering the ball to his feet....admittedly no one was marking him, as we quite rightly assessed him as absolutely no threat.
He slapped one of his own teammates who had a go at him.

The laziest, most arrogant waste of space I have ever seen.
This signing would absolutely destroy me...and the team

So that is a big NO from me

Brilliant player in his prime. Not everybody needs to run around like a demented afghan hound.

Pointless for us, we have nobody who could pass it to him.

But I like demented Afghan hounds!!!!

Point is...he could do it in his prime, but he has not been in his prime for about 5 years

I do not tell me he is top scorer for Monaco...he has 6

But I take your point about no-one to pass it to him (or Austin or Zarate...or anyone else)
We need a creative midfield..as well as a winger, striker and a left and right back and a CB...Okay we need a team
But we have a goalie..that is a start

Anyone see Lee Tomlin's performance for Boro at City yesterday? We should have gone for him when he was at Peterborough along with Assombalonga, these are gems of players that are out there, we just don't scout...

Many years ago I went to a ramshackle rural dog track to see afghan hound racing. It was hilarious. These beautiful animals are so inbred that any vestige of common sense has long since disappeared. About 10% actually finished the races, loads never really started and the rest chased each other or their own tails. Next best thing to seeing a horse turn round and race the wrong way down the track, jockey powerless to intervene, as I saw at Warwick racecourse a couple of years ago.

Of course we are not going to get Berbatov. We are not going to get anybody.

I saw Afghan racing at Wembley stadium, when I lived there (in Wembley, not the stadium of course)
Absolutely hilarious....as they came round the bend and hit the crowd noise...two just froze and stood like statues until the kennel maids went out, put a lead on them and dragged them back to the kennels.

Can you imagine us playing Berbatov, Taarabt, Kranjcar and Fer all in the same team? It would be hilarious but ultimately fatal. Of course, there is no chance whatsoever of him joining QPR or of him being played in that formation. Is there, Harry? Harry?! HARRY?!!!
