It is reported that he wants out of Man U. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18851169

If we can get the wages recalibrated, at 31, could he add value? I think he would certainly compete for a place and be a great option instead of Danny or coming off the bench. Our style would suit him.

    Thoughts?

Not a chance in hell, to expensive, to much wages, to lazy for our style. Good player but for somone else.

Don't think we could afford him nor do I think the lights in Swansea are bright enough. He could certainly do a job for us though. His touch is exquisite and he can certainly play in the killer ball for people to run onto as well as do a bit of poaching. Never understood why he didn't get on at Utd. Whenever he played he banged them in.

We've very much changed into a club that likes its players to work really hard, tracking back and forth. If you've got a hint of not doing so you won't fit in (as much as I love Dobbie this is a good example). Laudrup's added to the mix yet again by seemingly wanting players who not only work hard but are very versatile and can play in multiple positions, though I'm not sure this extends to the front line.

Either way, Berbatov won't fit imo.

This would be my dream signing of the summer but that is all it would be...a dream. £5 million would be a bargain but his wages will be sky high. He will bang in the goals where ever he ends up and they will have a hell of a cheap signing...cannot understand how Wellbeck or Hernandez are ahead of him!
