Berba Off - A Cryptic Clue?

As rosc said in the other thread, the media is rife about Berba moving in the summer - the latest rumour being to Galatasaray. The 'Bollock' reckons he's settled in London though and at today's press conference Jol said,


“That is not the worry I’ve got. He’s (Berbatov)got another year on his contract. That is not a concern at all.”


Also today, Neil Etheridge posted a curious tweet:

Me to Berba "what you doing in summer?" his reply "going home and walking around in my new shoes!"


Neil ,as I've mentioned before, loves his tweets but when he says something Club related it's always accurate, apposite and in advance of anything official. So is he telling us something or is that being too paranoid??

 

There was a rumour of Zenit St.P after him a week ago, but nothing since. Hope he stays.

Can't see him leaving somehow, but stranger things have happened. If Jol decides to walk, ask me again.

 

If Berbatov was to leave for a Champions League team, I wonder if a swap deal for one of their top players who might want to leave, might be a better option than getting cash.
