Are you pleased cos we're playing them in that period or cos you view them as relegation rivals? Cos there's no way I see them as the latter. Plus, that new £7m signing looked decent when replacing him at Norwich.

Benteke is by far their best player and him definitely missing our game is great news.

Still got some decent players, who will play, who we'd have in our team.

Agbonlahor is the one I'm worried about. Very underrated.

(He's another one who should be in the England team, ahead of players like Young)

Benteke's pace would have been a big concern for us - especially with Chester missing from our defence. His absence weakens Villa - but that doesn't mean they are weak!

The news about James Chester missing due to injury for a while has been watered down somewhat as our next 2 PL games are @ home against West Ham & Aston Villa. Then comes the next 2 week international break.

West Ham dont have much to worry about in attack with Andy Carroll missing and Villa will miss Benteke big time.

It is most certainly great news for Hull City defenders. <ok>

I hope the lads don't go into the West Ham and Villa matches with your attitude.

Believing you can win is one thing, thinking it's going to be piss easy is another.

It's ironic that you whinged when the Geordies thought they'd win last week.

No games in the premier league are easy Chester out is a blow but when other clubs get injuries it helps but home or away they are all difficult

Tickler's talking ****e as normal, even if it's only six weeks he misses...

Hull v West Ham Sat 28 Sep 15:00

Hull v Aston Villa Sat 5 Oct 15:00

    Everton v Hull Sat 19 Oct 15:00

    Tottenham v Hull Sun 27 Oct 16:00

    Hull v Sunderland Sat 2 Nov 15:00

    Southampton v Hull Sat 9 Nov 15:00

If it's eight, he could miss the Palace game to, which would be 20% of the season.

    We mustn't be complacent.

Just because their top striker is out doesn't mean it'll be an easy game.

I know your game, Bum (may I call you by your first name ?)

Expecting the worst so that a point, and dare I say three, is a bonus.

Not really, I just think they'll both beat us. Sam's teams always seem to beat us and Villa are underrated. But yes, anything more than 1 point will be a massive bonus.

And yes you may call me by my first name.

Know what you mean about Allardyce but we've not played one of his teams whilst Bruce has been in charge....
