New QPR manager Harry Redknapp may look to sign Darren Bent, The Independent say.

And it is suggested that Redknapp could target him in January along with Spurs defender Michael Dawson.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mirror report that Redknapp intends to use the loan market when the transfer window opens.

It is based on an interview with QPR Player, in which he said: “You can’t just keep loading up the squad with more and more players. If things don’t go right then you’re in trouble.

We’ll be looking at one or two loans in January. There’s a decent enough squad here.”
