Bookies have slashed the odds from 5/1 to 7/4 tonight. Could there be something in it?

    All speculation. He's only 80/90k a week?

Our wage cap is 50k a week.

I doubt it mate, but if he did go there, I couldn't really give a ****.

Facts are, he's exactly what all their fans told us he was, a one dimensional striker who only performs as the main man.

He will score goals anywhere, and I'd take him back, but if he went there, I'd be surprised, but not remotely moved by it.

Id be very surprised if this were to happen, after all the only source for this story is a Skunk unofficial Weblog. Also a drop in 50 grand a week wages...no I dont think so !!!

If newcastle are prepaered to pay him 90/100k a week he could go there.
But i couldnt see Villa selling him to a relagation rival.

If he leaves villa i could see him going abroad

He's 29 in a few weeks time so completely the opposite of where the club have been heading in the last 3 or 4 years; earns £80k-£90k per week; knows that he will be hounded like a dog if he moves back up here; is injury prone and out of form and looks a shadow of the player he once was.

He could have been a legend but for whatever reason (and its still not come out fully why he left imo) chose a different path and now finds his employ up for grabs by a dysfunctional, troubled football club, once again in the death throes of a relegation fight less than 3 years since its last one.

Oh how the totally self appointed high and mighty have fallen all over the country.

Personally, I couldn't give two ****s what he does.
But if he go's to NUFC I can see him scoring against us.

He'd sell his granny for a couple of quid.

Don't give a ****, we had him in his prime and have moved on to better things since him (MON, AJ, Fletcher). He looks like he's had his best days so they are welcome to him <ok>

could'nt care less, i stated on here a few weeks ago that he was'nt as good now as when we had him also i dont think newcastle would pay his big wages and i dont blame them for that so can't see it happening.
