Contract is up in the summer, which as far as I know means he can talk to clubs in January, but I seem to think (from playing football manager) that he can't talk to clubs in the same division?

 

I can't see this being true. There was no recall clause last week.

He's signed on a season long loan, you can only recall if it's a 2 month loan, and the club can then decide whether to recall him or extend the loan!.....it's the same loan deal as jake livermore's last year!

No! It's true, how can you say something is wrong, if your not sure.

At the end of the period of the loan, the club can decide wether to recall the player or offer the club an extended loan. You can't offer a season long loan and decide to recall the player half way through! If that was the case it would be a 4 month loan with Newcastle making a decision on weather to recall him or for hull to extend his loan till the end of the season.
