I don't see the point in buying players to send them out to play for other teams. If we want him, then play him!
It’s the way of top flight football unfortunately. I don’t agree one bit with repeatedly loans (Chelsea) as it is purely stockpiling players. They’ve had something like 30 odd out on loan previously! In this case, we know Morgan and Evans aren’t long term and Maguire might move on. We need players in that position for next season probably but is it worth stunting his development this season? I think I’m happy as long as he comes into the fold next season, any longer we are guilty of stockpiling
Good for me... just a shame that they didn’t make champions league. Maybe he’ll return as a Van Dijk!
I think this is excellent. We still have 4 centre backs and he will continue to develop playing each week.
Some good signs now as Celtic fans have been singing his praises after last night draw against Rosenborg.
