Everton are a disaster, they’ve been through manager after manager. Wasted millions on poor recruitment for years, I’ve never seen a Rafa team so poor
Do we think he honestly cares.... he's probably earnt more out of being sacked than he has being employed ..... as have most of the merry ground of **** managers in this country...
Do we care? He could be up there with Alex Ferguson in a league table of best and worst managers. But why would we care?
Why do we care about a lot of the things mentioned on here about other clubs, managers and sports which have no connection to Hull City. Why not ask the OP why he started a thread about someone we don't care about?
i gather liverpool gave him the boot after a 0-0 draw with us, so it would have been interesting for him to get the boot from everton straight after playing us. we've a decent list of managers that we've offed, included world cup winner scolari (though he was sacked after the next game, much as benitez was this time).
Frank Lampard offered Everton managerial job to replace Rafael Benitez Everton have offered their vacant managerial position to former England midfielder Frank Lampard. Lampard, 43, has been out of work for a year after being sacked as Chelsea manager last January, leaving the Blues after 18 months in charge. Portuguese Vitor Pereira and caretaker Duncan Ferguson also had their second interviews for the job on Friday, but the club decided to move for Lampard. Rafael Benitez was sacked after winning just one of his last 13 games. The former Liverpool manager lasted less than seven months and a side lacking in confidence lies 16th in the Premier League, just six points above the relegation zone. Pereira initially looked set to be offered the job after holding "very positive" talks and said club officials were "enthusiastic of what I proposed to them". But graffiti daubed on Everton's Goodison Park home this week opposed the move and read 'Pereira out, Lampard in'. And on Wednesday night around 100 fans held a protest at Goodison at the way the club is being run. Former Toffee Wayne Rooney was also in contention for the role but turned down the chance to talk with Everton as he wants to stay at Championship strugglers Derby. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/60174330
I shall be following the fortunes of Frank Lampard's Everton (or the FLEVs as I shall call them) with interest, as hopefully we will be playing them next season.
I don't! I reckon they will stay up, but it will be more about having just enough quality over the others. It won't be anything to do with him.
The ideal scenario is relegation for the FLEVs and promotion for us. I shall refrain from applying the appellation SATIGs or similar to our good selves.
