http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/view/182980/Sunderland-out-to-get-Arsenal-s-Nicklas-Bendtner-/ Sorry if been posted already and I am aware it's probably just gossip but wouldn't be a bad signing in my opinion, he does at times speak a better game then he plays but at times is different class and is a big target man type we'll be looking for. Him, Nzog and the loanees signed up would do me nicely.
Virtually every tall forward has been mentioned as a possible target, but for me Bruce wont buy an established prem leagues striker-preferring untapped foreign markets. As for Bendtner he varies betwen great and gash. But, he would still get in most premier league teams starting 11. Not sure he is prepared to drop out of top6 clubs or will he head abroad if Arsenal sell him--which they have always denied they are prepared to do...
"As for Bendtner he varies between great and gash." - says it all for me, I say no thank you to Nicholas, we ought to be able to do better.
His head is way too big to come to us he thinks he's better than he actually is. As said by our resident barcode he is either great or non existent in games would say no to that one. Still think N'Zogbia will be a mistake we've tried for 2 or is it 3 seasons now to sign him and still no joy, he does not want to come to us in my opinion and if he does come it'll be for cash alone.
Bendtner is good in the air and can chip in with a few goals he could be the perfect partner for Gyan. But only if the price is right. I did read that 15m would be the price and i think thats to high.
I think Bendtner would be a great signing personally, big potential, performed well under Bruce before, why not. He's nee Gignac like.
Would be a great signing for you in my opinion, hes a player I'd love to see at St James, I would be quite jealous if you guys managed to get hold of him, I think hes great in the air, not so good on the ground but still has time to work on that with a regular run of games. His attitude is supposedly meant to be a problem, hes meant to be arrogant as ****. Agree that 15 million is too high for him though, I think 10 million would be a fair price. Surely he would jump at the chance of first team action, even if it is to a midtable side you Sunderland or Newcastle.

I will continue to mention him until we sign someone inferior, but still of a good calibre in the summer
