Do we miss him? I think we do firstly before people say Fletcher is miles better we should of got them both Bendtner infuriated people by drifting all over the place but it seems as though looking at the tactics of this season that it actually stretched teams and created a bit of space for other players in our team
well you could look at Arsenal when they had Bergkamp and Henry Henry would drift all over the place picking the ball up in wide areas and running at the defence and Bergkamp was not a striker that would stand on the last man, he was one of the most intelligent footballers that I have ever seen live that was 2 or 3 passes ahead of everyone else. Obv. Sess and Bendtner couldn't lace those two's boots but it seemed to cause problems I love Fletcher but it seems as though its the same when Bent was here, everything with tactis and how we set out comes back to Fletcher, we need to forget about Fletcher and think about how we will get the best out of the creative players Sess, AJ and McClean, if we do that then and get that working then Fletcher will be even more lethal infront of goal than he has been so far.
Bendner is a good player. It's obvious he doesn't have much of a brain. Speeding, fighting, drinking, kicked out of his hotel, illegal car number plate, pizza shop! (and probable more in 8 ish months) but he was never a number 9. With a striker alongside him he would have done a good job for us. Better than Sess. imho. And at 5m an absolute snip. Do we miss him? I think we do.
