    Ian Dennis on the BBC web site reckons he has signed for us. Dosent mention loan deal or otherwise.

    Apparentley its a loan deal until the end of this season, nothing mentioned yet on SAFC.Com

    This is a ****in joke! Where the **** is SNQ or Agent Bruce? What's happened to the German lad, or Cisse (I'd even take Djibril right now !) one hour, eleven minutes to come up with something.......

    If its just Bentner then its a really disappointing. It seems Bruce gave Crouch the chance to turn us down AGAIN....plan "B" was to sign the self proclaimed best footballer in the world.
    Till recently, I have supported Bruce....not any more, I think he is out of his depth now...

    Just confirmed (from BBC site):

    2310: Confirmed: Chelsea have signed Raul Meireles. And Arsenal have signed Mikel Arteta and let Nicklas Bendtner join Sunderland on loan. Phew.

    Great piece of business which I feel will give our forward line a massive boost...<cool>
    I can't believe that Stoke have actually paid 12 million quid for 31 year old Crouch...Unbelievable!...Good player, but not at that price.

    I think this is a good signing for you. On loan you don't have much to lose and I rate Bendtner highly. Will watch his career with interest.

    Honestly, I think this is decent business by Sunderland.

    Am much happier with this than the £10m for Crouch. Bendtner is a cracking player who may just flourish in our side. He also brings belief in himself which I think our club has lacked for a lomg time.
