Both Bendtner or Chamakh didn't have great seasons last year

Chamakh did have a bright start but fell away unbelievably to be completely unrecognizable to the guy who scored over 10 goals for us. During pre-season I thought he might reignite his career but he has been truly shocking in all the games I've seen!! Not only is he not a goal threat but he looks clumsy, slow and lethargic

Bendtner is a frustrating player, he has the worst first touch of any player I've seen us field but to be fair he has been played out of position to accommodate or system. With no transfer out of the club yet is it worth keeping him for one more season and getting rid of or demoting Chamakh?? I honestly can't see how he can be any worse after the 2011 Chamakh has had.

    Bendtner easily.

I would take Vela over Chamakh.
    And Afobe.
    And Ansah.

I'd even take Jermaine Defoe over Chamakh!!

Even at the training session at Members day Chamakh looked clumsy, slow and lethargic and missed the easiest sitters in the combination practice. Sometimes not even hitting the target from close range.

Bendtner looked very willing and motivated and had a work rate in the practice match. He even took some nice long-range shots.

Bendtner is 4 years younger and the more complete striker. Chamakh lacks confidence, Bendtner sometimes has too much of it. They should trade 'confidence' at bit and have healthy balance :p
Chamakh hardly ever takes a shot or looks to finish unless it is a simple tap-in or a header.

So what does Bendtner and Chamakh bring to the table. Chamakh is good at holding up the ball and links up well with our attacking midfielders. He is average on goal unless the ball is crossed into him for headers. Bendtner is good at holding up play but lacks satisfactory ball control/link up play for Arsenal standard. However he is a bigger goal threat in both the air and on the ground. He isn't scared of taking on players or shooting. Chamakh for some reason seems pertrified. Also Bendtner offers a PLAN B!

I don't think either of them are of Arsenal standard and we should be looking to get a top or world class striker like Benzema.

    Chamakh.

    He'll find his form again.
11 goals in the first half of last Season. He's not a natural goalscorer but is an incredibly hardworker and is GREAT in the air.

Bendnter is a useless donkey. Everyone complained that he was shifted out wide last Season but there's a reason for that.. despite his size everytime he's been played down the middle he's shown an inability to hold the ball up. His first touch is too poor for the style of play we strive towards.

Bendtner by miles. He only looked bad because he was continuously stuck out on the wing. Would have made more sense to play him through the middle and RVP on the right, then Robin could have got more involved without leaving us short of men in the box. Chamakh, for a tall target man, is a bit weedy for my liking!
