    Wonder if that means he'll be staying. Had a good few months with Arsenal.

    We don't need him and he's not exactly young either. He'll be a decent squad player, but I would expect to see him very rarely.

    Wouldn't read into that too much. We have 4 games in the space of 12 days before the transfer window closes and with Marin being injured, Oscar yet to be introduced to the squad I wouldn't be suprised to see Benayoun play in at least 2 of these games (or at least be in the squad).

    Benayoun is not a bad player, but not a great player, and not the type of midfielder we desperately need. He is taking up space that a younger promising midfielder could take, and that is not what we should be doing. Sell him ASAP, cut our losses, reduce our wages and open a space for a youngster.
