Thought I'd bring this to everyones attention as he's doing a great job and there's a lack of information in the media. Some of you may remember a couple of years ago that ex Saints player Franny Benali ran between all 20 Premier League grounds to raise money for Cancer Research. He raised roughly 250k, a great effort but well short of his (perhaps optimistic) £1,000,000 target. So he's back and this time doing even more. Visiting every PL & Championship ground (44!) in a two week period by a combination of running and cycling. He is running a minimum of 26 miles and cycling double that every single day. He started at Bournemouth on Sunday 2nd October and is finishing this Sunday when he arrives back at St Marys for/during the Burnley match. Currently on stage 32 from Portman Road to White Hart Lane. You can donate a fiver by texting FRAN to 70200 or directly on the website: www.benalisbigrace.com I can't help but feel that if this was Shearer or an ex United/Liverpool player that we would be hearing a lot more about this through the media than what we are currently... likely with daily SSN updates!! Frankly I think the lack of media attention considering his efforts is pretty disgraceful! So please donate if you can or at least share the word round about what this guy is going through! He's not gonna get near his target but let's help him get as much as he can! His route here: http://www.benalisbigrace.com/#route Can see more updates/videos either on the twitter page: https://twitter.com/BenalisBigRace/with_replies or there's a thread on our board with updates etc. http://www.not606.com/threads/benalis-big-race.337057/ Cheers
