Masky’s grandson (a handsome bug*er) used to plays school football in Fairwater, a good side too. I used to go to the games (it was free) and entertaining too. They won a British Schools Cup and they were all quite a talented and unassuming bunch of players, including a lanky centre half Ben.. A number of players stood out and they eventually left school as you do! In a casual conversation about his teammates and their progress, Masky’s grandson, when asked about his team mates and where they were now casually mentioned Ben plays for Swansea City. Masky never knew that and when Masky (handsome fugger) asked his second nane he said Cabongo to Masky’s surprise. Ben Cabango was born in Cardiff to an Angolan father and a Welsh mother. He has a younger brother named Theo who plays rugby union for Cardiff. He attended Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Plasmawr, a Welsh language comprehensive school. Good for him that he made it .....let’s give him a cheer eh? Masky
