http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26152532 Gone to Posh on loan.. The lads only 21, does anyone think after gaining experience of going out on loan, he may become an asset to the club?
Could say his young age is against him at the moment - usually central defenders at Premier League level are much more mature and experienced................then you look at Caulker. Virtually the same age - just a year between them, but it would seem poles apart at the moment in ability. Not sure about Nuge. Acquitted himself quite well when called upon at Championship level, but that own goal against Bristol City still sticks in my mind. He's been out at Brentford, but Rosler didn't seem to rate him after a couple of poor games. In my opinion, his time there was a complete waste in terms of his development. Ferguson at Posh will either get the best out of him or he'll sink to that level temporarily and will have to start again to improve. At the moment, he would have no chance of a game in the Premier League, but could be useful in the Champ if we go down and the likes of Caulker go.
The lad who has gone to Sheff Wed may be a better bet for the future if we go down. Oshalaja (sic) Ralls is another who should come back better after a season at Yeovil, and Kadim Harris. Brayford as well even though he is now in 3rd tier football.
Completely irrelevant, but I'm a big fan of Football Manager (PC) and all 3 players mentioned (after one season) show major potential and go on to be the best assets for the club
