This big mess with TBH has now finally been resolved, according to SC speaking to the News. He says that the issue has been resolved, with legal proceedings no longer necessary and an agreement met between the player and the club. SC now seems him as a full time AVAILABLE player, who will be going to America for pre season. And, keeping up with last nights game via the News text service, apparantly he has got himself in serious shape, with a considerable amount of body mass gone. Given the past season's disaster with TBH, I would consider this to be a brand new signing, and if he can find the form (or even remotely close to) that he had @ Bolton, then this could turn out to be very good indeed.
Wait and see. If he contributes to PFC's success, fans usually tend to forgive most, if not all, of what went on in the past.
But isn't he on premiership wages? Edit: I suppose with the new owners we can be (slightly) flexible with regards to wages now, even if it's not ideal.
Yeah, 38k p/w is still WAY over budget. I read someone who said that now til January would probably be a shop window period for him, then he may move on which would be good. And then hopefully in January we will be in a position (in the table) where we are an even more attractive proposition to other players who could replace him for cheaper...but thats ages away, for now its just good that hes playing for us cos it really is like a new signing!
