Don't worry just express your complaints towards Jack Humphrey's blog linked below... http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/jakehumphrey/2011/08/looking_forward_to_a_rare_brea.html Have over 1,000 comments and more people are getting involved every minute slagging off the BBC Enjoy!
Considering contacting my MP about all of this, they can't ignore legitimate complaints. The license fee means we must have some representation on this issue.
Good move Thomsen. I am going to leave this comment at that, for fear of expressing a cynical and less than constructive viewâ¦
Cheers Cosi, if enough people contact their local MP's maybe one of the blighters will actually take some action on the matter, I don't understand what can be done but it's better to do something than nothing.
Well my MP is Nick Clegg so there is not much point contacting him as he has showed us he is pretty much useless.
If you do, think about maybe questioning the anti-competitive nature of the deal, the way that Channel 4 were frozen out to protect the BBC's ratings and market share, thus ruining our chance to watch F1 on free-to-air. There's an EU law regarding state aid which many think has been broken. I think I posted more about this on the other BBC-Sky thread. It's just that I think having an angle beyond just "I want to keep F1 free" is less likely to be dismissed. Good luck!
I don't think having f1 on channel 4 would have hurt the beeb too much. I can't understand why they were frozen out.
I signed the e-petition and also complained on Jakes blog (pre moderated) and Andrew Benson (not pre moderated), also linked to the e-petetion. https://submissions.epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/57 http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/andrewbenson/2011/07/on_saturday_evening_in_hungary.html
