Do we know how serious his injury is & if he likely to be a long term absence again? I hope not, I was viewing him as a 'new' signing for this season?

Shouldn't be out for longer than 6 weeks.

Yeah, Pardew said 5 or 6 games. Hopefully he'll be pretty much injury free after that

It was just one of those niggly injuries you get after a long lay off, hopefully he should be fine to continue after he comes back in 5-6 weeks.

More like a reckless tackle from the Orlando player...

Won't take a full season. It may take 4 or 5 games but he should be back by mid september.

Gosling had a few injuries after his long term one, it's normally other parts of the body that get injured after a long injury I think

Actually it was Sporting Kansas, an "Espinoza" challenge as they put it (Or something like that).

I think we'll see him start again late September/early October to be honest. I hope nothing else happens to him, it's so frustrating.

Why do people think they are qualified physio's and doctor's when assessing players after or during injury.. fact is you do not know the effect until hes played a good set of games, and dont give the excuse of players who have had similar injuries and then been crap after... and i like how henrik larsson is always over looked.. look at his leg break... the next season he scored 30+ goals...

His injury proneness is already concerning me. Stick legs.

And i suppose you think eduardos leg break was down to being "injury prone", you know because if he wasn't injury prone the tackle would have just bounced of him and the physio would at the most would of had to just use his magic sponge.

It's unfair to brand injuries from two bad tackles as 'injury prone'......

So I suppose Kieron Dyer is just unlucky......apart from also having stick legs.

Just an opinion i have. I was concerned by watching him play on Youtube before he joined us. If he gets a heavy knock, its gonna hurt him. So far, im not wrong.
