Just putting the finshing touches on my fantasy football team and thinking about putting HBA in - what are your thoughts on this? Is he in for a good season do you think? What's his injury status, etc?

He's back, and I'd consider putting him in, as after our first game against City, we have 5 winnable games.

He's been getting back in shape, but he always goes through a bit of a rough patch then bursts into form.

Cheers Tash, it's not the premier league one though its a work one which you are pretty much stuck with your team the whole season... I assume he will be basically an automatic starter if he's fit and no injury worries? In which case I'll probs go for him - if he can hit anything like the form he showed a season or two back he'll be well worth the points!

Ah, if it;s the Sun one, then I'd suggest not taking him then. He never lasts a season. Go for SausageJon instead ;)

If it's The Sun Dream Team, I agree definitely don't take him. Much better value elsewhere.
saying that there are 4 transfer windows this year.

Beware his chunkier frame. It will either help or hinder.

Brave man who picks him. He is very very injury prone which is not a good recipe for fantasy teams.

If you're looking to add Toon players to your fantasy team, look no further than Newcastle United 'legend' Shola Ameobi.

Mike Williamson looks like a great point-scorer also.

Glad to help a Mackem. :emoticon-0116-evilg
