Reported on SSN that Lennon at Celtic has confirmed their interest in CB, they are looking at a loan deal, but apparently they are prepared to pay a bigger lump of his wages than anyone else has offered (I've heard £60.000 pw but no links) No mention of a permanent deal though, and Craig's club of choice is you know who, but Celtic have put a serious offer on the table
If that's the case Proph, it is up to Craig now - but then again, it always was. He seems to hold all the cards, but does he? Will Mancini & Co threaten to make him sit the season out if he says no to Lennon, or will Craig's desire to play this year make him go North? Could be brinkmanship at the highest level from both parties.
Celtic know how Bellamy feels and also know they have no chance. This is a fan pleaser with no end result, shows the club has ambition(?) in the market without having to spend the coin. Look we tried kind of thing, knowing their money is safe.
I really think the money is now secondary to the wishes of Bellers and Man City. If ellers doesn't agree to the move surely he cannot be forced to move. I am also not so sure Bellers and Lennon would see eye to eye, both are pretty much the same type of character.
