Looks like he will miss the Ipswich game.

It was going to be a stretch for him to play for us Sat - Tues - Sat anyway without internationals. I though he might have played against Ipswich knowing he had two weeks off as I forgot he would be expected to play for Wales.

Does MM expect to beat the tractor boys without him so will give him the day off and use that as leverage to say he isn't fit for Wales?

Hopefully MM stays 442. Put Mason in behind HH and Smith or KimBo on the right.

Would rather have him fit for the Forest game, rather than Bellers be put through the hoop by that useless git Coleman.

At least now Craig won't be risked by the swansea mafia for a pointless international. Good to see him back rested and raring to go at the City Ground.

its a qualifier iti, yes the current management is inept and taking us backwards but bellamy is an individual who wants to play every match club or country whatever the management...

    Swamp!
I would be absolutely gob smacked if this squad gets us qualified. They are not motivated. We have a bufoon running our national set up backed by dinosaurs. Ramsey will now be alienated because basically he is the sacrificial lamb for the recent drubbing. The sooner this clown goes the better. For selfish reasons I would rather wrap Bellamy in cotton wool than waste his time in these international fixtures.

Let's not get too deeply in this club/country argument again - it's been done to death before. Opinions vary as to the choices players and their clubs should make depending upon personal veiws regarding priorities.

I'll just say that I'm glad Bellamy is a Cardiff City player (repeat Cardiff City player) and contracted to the club. At this stage of his career, if his appearances for Wales jeopardised his availability to play for his club through "knee burn-out" or whatever, he should make the right decision.

I'm sure he will, and will not figure on the pitch until the Forest game. Look forward to seeing him in the right red shirt again at the CCS against Watford.

I didn't think there was any hope of Wales qualifying now, taking the captiancy off Ramsey and having Bellamy playing wont make a blind bit of difference.

so would i, but we need to give 100% in every game as there are ranking points which up for grabs which will give us a higher seeding in the euros qualifying in 2 years....

i can understand where your coming from and coleman is trying to make a scapegoat but bellamy will be desperate to play for his country whether its mourinho or hartson managing us......<ok>

I thought Bellamy was out due to a flare up of his calf strain.
With regard to the Wales set up, never rated Coleman and he's done nothing as Wales coach to change my opinion of his coaching or man managment skills.

According to Malky's interview, Bellamy's came off against Brum because his calves were "tightening up" - that's the official line anyway.

It was Wol that mentioned "resting his troublesome knees" to be fit for the Forest game.

it seems bellamy still hasnt made his mind up whether to retire from internationals or not, for goodness sake you shouldnt have to think for ages about such a thing, if you do then chances are your heart isnt in it....

I've always been in the 'club before country' camp so for that reason alone, I'd rather see Bellamy fit and playing as many games for CCFC as is possible until he retires. This campaign is already over for Wales imo and he won't be around for the next one anyway so bow out now.

Bit harsh - but true. For Wales, the rest of the games in this group are, effectively, friendlies.

iggy, thats my point. It just takes a bad challenge in one of those games and we (ccfc) lose him for a few weeks or more. I know it could happen in a club game too but personally, I'd rather not take the risk. Like anyone, I'd love to see Wales do well but this time around (again), its just not going to happen.
