I understand that Bellamy's going to sign a two year deal.

If this is true then it is definately great news, i have always suspected that the board has been consulting Bellers on the way forward. Who knows maybe Earnie will pop up on the horizon next.
    Fantastic

Didn't he play for AS Roma in the 80's? :)

OT - "Apparently he has cancelled his Man City contract himself to come..." MJW - If this proves to be the case then Bellamy's status in Bluebird history has just rocketed imo...regardless of where we finish.

I can only say that I got this from someone who knows him personally. I don't want to hedge my bets on this but he's not often wrong.

Fantastic news if correct, just need Earnie back also, get players who WANT to play for Cardiff, now if only Toshack was 40yrs younger LOL

By the way anyone else having to multiple click to open a thread, it's doing my head in

My respect for Bellamy grows by the day . Bellamy obviously has unfinished business at Cardiff . A very stubborn man , it seems , on & off the pitch . Great news for Cardiff in general if he signs .

Bellers and Earny up front! A full Welsh front attack, I'd be in dreamland if that was to happen. :1980_boogie_down:

Guys, lots of posts on this thread mentions earnie as well. Have I missed something or is this just what you want to happen? Would love Earnie back here and Bellamy obviously.

Just a random thought but IF Bellamy came back, d'you think he would try to persuade Bothroyd to re-sign as I understand they're good mates (correct me if I'm wrong there)
It might just be me being an old sceptic but I just saw his "Loyalty to Cardiff" quote and seeing as he hasn't landed that 'big deal' anywhere yet, I can't help thinking it could be just a smoke screen to try and win back favour amongst us bluebirds. Like I said, just a thought...I probably need to stop having them :)

Ace, I've spoken to a few Trees and they want him to stay but think he'll go on a free. Leicester has been rumoured but I agree, would love to see him back.

I would love Jay to return..don't understand all of this 'He didn't make any effort' nonsense...of course he did, he has always looked lethargic a bit like Gabbidon did. I think his injury and rushed comeback didn't help him in the 2nd half of the season. Anyway, we could play a 4-3-3 next season with Bellers & Earnie playing off Jay. We'd be the Barcelona of the Championship! :p

Yep, he is out of contract. Forest have offered him a new deal but Earnie is unsure of his options. I think he is waiting for us to make a move as he isn't going to get a PL move and Forest is a big enough club in the Championship...
