    Bellamy In Sunderland Talks

City Old Boy News Former Coventry City player Craig Bellamy has had talks with Sunderland about a possible loan move. Bellamy is out of favour at Manchester City and can go out on loan again this season. Sunderland boss Steve Bruce, according to The People, is hopeful that he can be brought in before the transfer window closes and believes the ball is now in Bellamy's court.

I read on the Cardiff board that he has already said no to us and would rather go to Swansea than us, that was a couple of days ago though so maybe things have changed, but even if he does come, (i know its negative) but i cant see him doing much, hope he proves me wrong though.

I had previously thought he'd be good but I'm starting to wonder... We went in for him a while ago and nowt's been signed. Dragging his heels?

I think he may well be brought in as the solution to the left side of midfield Steve, rather than an out and out striker.

Apparently be some news on new strikers tomorrow in the journal. Could this be it?

Personally I would like to see us in for Doyle or Rodallega not Bellamy.

Doyle all day long. He ruined us at Molineux (sp) last season.

And stick a bid in for Jarvis while we are at it.

    Easy this managing lark.

I think Rodellega is class, but i do like Doyle.

He's been linked with Arsenal, think that's a wee bit above his station mind.

Whoever it is, twill be a loan..

I think we've already spent the Jordan money... (wheeling and dealing)

Cash is hard to come by in this economic climate ...

I can't see us getting Doyle, and with Bellamy having being based in Wales, perhaps the Swansea rumour hes credence: who knows though eh.

This would sort out alot of the problems, could play left wing or as an out and out striker. IMHO move Coleback to LB and Belamy to LW then we don't look to bad on the left. If true it will be a loan as we seem to have no more money in the pot so a loan will be the best we could hope for.

Before anyone says anything about Colback at left back... Gerrard started there for Liverpool, did him no harm.
