Thats according to this article ... http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/craig-bellamy-says-gary-speeds-1314258 Dunno how much of it you can believe though, thoughts?
Typical red top accuracy. Saying Gary Speed was Craigs former boss at Cardiff City. Sums them up really.
Sincerely hope Craig sorts his personal problems out. Poor journalism as there are so many mistakes in the article. Must be awful having your life scrutinised by anyone never mind a poor journalists.
One problem with jounralism is the use of soundbites and no context. I'm sure that at the moment, the most important thing to Bellamy is the situation regarding his family. In comparison he doesn't 'give a ****' about anything else, football included. Unfortunately, lots of families go through a similar thing for different reasons, but because they aren't famous you don't hear about it. Also, in most instances, the average bloke in this situation has to carry on with his working life (yes, football is Bellamy's working life) out of neccesity. Hopefully things for him and his family will sort themselves out. A simple statement for a complex situation I know. If that allows him to come back to playing for us great, if not, so be it. As for accuracy in writing, WoL have a picture of Tan with the caption 'Cardiff City chairman and owner', yet in the words they refer to Charman TG and owner Tan (correct). They aren't even consistent within a piece. http://www.walesonline.co.uk/footba...y-from-rangers-style-meltdown-91466-31795474/
Hope Bellers can sort things out and as someone else says, if he comes back great, if not good luck to him and his family. He will always have a special place at Carfiff City F C.
Wish Craig all the best, a great professional and exceptional footballer! The bad boy tag is undeserved in my opinion, he was just passionate about football, and that sometimes led to unfortunate headlines! Boo'd him like the rest of the jack crowd when he played against us, but that's just football - the guy is a diamond; inspirational for his team mates and a tireless charity worker! Have to admire his loyalty in wanting to help his home team! Really hope he gets past this 'bad patch' soon - really admire the guy!
Bellamy breaths football , when the smoke clears he may have his best & most satisfying season is where my money is ..( pertaining to football )
Much more than 3 points , Bellamy 's superb goal will be heard around the Championship & felt in the souls of Cardiff players & fans with a huge boost of confidence . Bellamy will turn the league on it's head this season
We all hope so Breezey. Mind you we must protect that little piece of turf just to the right of the penalty area as that is from where both Bellers and Whitts smashed in superb freekicks in the last 2 games.
Last time we had Bellamy we played him as often as we could, and probably a bit more again. With the players we have now there is the opportunity to leave him rest and look after his knees. He was never going to play 3 full games in 8 days, but 20 odd minutes on Saturday we could get the same again on Tuesday with an hour or more on the fillowing Saturday. With Noone, Smith and KomBo also available there is no pressure to play him 90 mins week in week out. If we only play him 20 mins a game and he repeats what he did against Leeds we'll be laughing. I think we'll get more than that and I believe he'll want to give more than that. You're spot on though Breezy, he could turn this division on it's head. I've said on a number of occassions we didn't make best use of him last time due to tactics and personnel. This time round we'll see much more of him and see more goals from the strikers as a result of his build up. Maynard and HH could be the ones to benefit. Don't think the papers could say that the impact he made and his celebrations on Saturday confirmed their assertions of a week or so back.
