There have been a few posts commenting on this lad of late. Yesterday I though he looked very good, great control, passing and a bit of chasing back and getting stuck in. He was the most positive thing out of yesterdays game.

I thought Koren, Hobbs and Chester did well, Fryatt tried hard. Still not sure about Amoo though.

Players who disappointed, despite his goal the more I watch Gerrard the more I hope we don't sign him, slow and can't pass for toffee!

Devitt looked lightweight and Simpson doesn't know when to pass.

Other than that I understand what Pearson means when he says he's got a lot of work to do over the summer. Judging by the last two home performances we are no better than Crystal Palace or Middlesbrough, we're certainly not contenders at this moment in time.

    Anyway, onwards and upwards!

I think promotion would have been a season too soon, I know theres talk of ceasing the day etc, but I'd rather be competetive in the championship, than be **** in the premiership.

Don't see the point in signing him permanently. If he was that good why hasn't he been played that much?

Watching the equalising goal yesterday you'd say belaid was at fault for not tracking the run, not saying that doesn't mean he doesn't deserve a contract, its just something I think isn't symptomatic of a Pearson signing

looked sharp yesterday belaid..one thing that puzzled me is why start simpson down the left, when we have belaid and amoo desperate for game time to earn a contract ...

I'm still not convinced by Amoo, despite a better performance yesterday, I think Belaid is a better play but we've not really seen enough of either of them to make much of a judgement. Based on what we've seen so far, I'd be surprised if either of them are offered a deal.

I'd agree with that olm. I would say amoo has an uncanny knack of beating his man but it always seems with luck rather than ability

Strange how both of them have their best games when in the penultimate chance they have to earn a contract.

I would tend to give Belaid a contract ahead of Amoo, but he, like Koren, is a luxury player. Do we need two?

i would prefer amoo to be honest at least he looked like he wanted to drive forward on the flank and he could put a decent cross in, i think simpson played well yesterday and a better position for him would be playing behind the strikers, thats where he looked the most comfortable. anyway we already have anough centre mids, we have korn evans harper and we are getting danns and akpan do we need any more?

If Simpson hadnt been from Arsenals academy most of us would have binned him off ages ago.

He is easy to play against. Defenders read him like a book.

Amoo just hasn't got enough about him despite a series of great crosses and was very impressed with Belaid's contribution when he came on.

Would have been interesting to see how we'd have got on over the last few home games with Cameron Stewart playing - shame we haven't a player of similar ilk

Could not disagree more about signing Belaid. He looked a yard off the pace at times and have not seen anything to justify signing him.

I think simpson is looking a completely different player these days, his role yesterday was bizarre but at least he was eager to drop deep and have an impact. I'd be confident he'd get a lot of goals, moreso than McLean anyway

This article is bizarre, not one person has made a legitimate point against Amoo and yet everyone has said they don't rate him.

He's hardly had a chance, he's done absolutely nothing wrong whatsoever when he's had a chance and everyone is making out he's rubbish even though all you can say about his actual performances are that they have been good!
