Will be watching it on friday myself,i think it will be interesting

 

I watched it on Fox. Nothing really special. Shows a few players at home- a little bit around the club, etc... mostly fluff. No technical stuff, no real surprising stuff, no secrets revealed... hardly any of them training, etc.

Brendan comes across as a real empty-flatterer. Everyone is good looking, fantastic people in his eyes. Still, that's probably the kind of manager big-ego players need.

 

For the camera's...? He looks like he could be a **** IMO

 

Being luvgonzo will be on Television X this Friday at 1am going to be a much better programme.

 

Is that porn? Afterall, there will just be a picture of a **** on screen

Just watched the first episode. I quite enjoyed it despite the various cringe worthy bits that are in it. I don't think it is damaging to the club and I don't think the picture Brendan has of him self is as bad as made out either.

Not really much to say about the ins and outs of the club. It was more like an initial episode of a series where it is entirely geared towards explaining the plot. I'm sure there will be more in the following episodes. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the others though

Actually- wouldn't really want to be Liverpool manager- I'd screw us up and be almost as bad as Roy was. Sure... I can win on Football Manager- but that's after giving myself a £100million transfer kitty- and Derek Asamoah (whom, I naturally correct the stats for and make him a football god).

 

If I was a programmer I'd write a Rodgers speech generator. Maybe I could do it like those old Mad magazine pieces:

I thought the players were (brilliant/outstanding/excellent/fantastic) in their (effort/workrate/movement off the ball/patience/build-up) but we have to find a (penetration/hunger/efficiency/striker/new manager/realism about being the New Barca) in front of goal. I also want to pay (tribute/respect/sycophancy/BJs all round) to the fans, who were (brilliant/outstanding/excellent/fantastic/as advertised).

It's fair to say I haven't bent over and puckered up like some gay sycophant for a guy with no record to justify it. Why so many have suddenly found patience is a mystery to me when they haven't displayed much of it up until now for more deserving people. It's like the Emperor's new clothes but instead of clothes it's the Emperor's New Barca. He didn't take the style to Swansea, he didn't do much other than keep them up, Laudrup is doing better at actually turning possession into goals, he wasn't the only coach we've had who worked with Mourinho, FSG is taking a huge risk for the sake of future TV rights when we needed stability and it was Kenny who made us winners again. And for everything we owe that man what did the Brendanistas do? Bottled it and ran away from a fight like little girls. Some patience that is.
