being f****d over at work

Basically, I've been at my job for 2 years. Not the best job I have had and not the worst - but i moved there because they said they would make me a trainee accountant. They turned around to me a month ago and said that one of the members of staff had done a report on my work and that it wasn't good enough yet to give me the trainee accounting role. Now this person has had something against me since day one, but there you go. Always unhelpful, makes stuff up etc etc

Anyways, so after delaying the start of my training I found out today that they had got another trainee in!!

Don't know what to do now to be honest, i'm thankful for my job in the current climate but i'm half tempted to move on.
