beIN Media Chief Goes On Trial

Chairman of PSG and head of Qatar beIN sports has gone on trial in Switzerland over corruption in World Cup bidding by Qatar . Nasser Al-Khelaifi has also been said to have offered cash to Switzerland to drop the charges against him.
The state prosecutor is seeking a 2 1/2 year prison term. I should imagine all of this is good news for the Saudi's bid and Ashley looking for his money. I can see the PL must be crapping themselves at what may come out as they are in bed with beIN . I notice no coverage by BBC or Sky. I await daily updates as trial expected to last another 3 days.
