    In just over six hours, the season starts for me, Beilefeld here we come, meeting up with Smithy and wife, clothes all washed and ironed. just need petrol and off we go, hope this friendly will give me an insight into what team we will put together, when the season starts propper, if nothing else, it will be a weekend away from work, so fingers crossed folks, this might turn out to be an epic weekend.

    Yeah. Know the sense of excitement. We'll be buying the train tickets this weekend for Cologne, booking the hotels and finding the train timetables for Mönchengladbach for next week's match. It's great for us expats, isn't it, that SAFC do European tours for pre-season friendles. Mind you, within a few years, it'll be to places like North America or the Far East, which will be great for our "further-flung" supporters, so let us "Europeans" follow the lads while we can.
