Actually, it took only 6 mins for Nando to score his first (of many more) under AVB. He was a second half substitute. Nic provided the assist it seems, that to me is a bad note. Nic is not going to be around most probably and who is going to provide assists to Nando? I wish it is Kun Aguero!
I've said this loads, but I don't mind saying it again Sell Drogba and keep Anelka...NA works very well with Torres and gets the best out of him, is extremely fit and relatively injury free and doesn't behave like a spoilt twat when things don't go his way or at least not any more! He is also happy to be utilised in whichever way is asked of him, and seems to love being at the club...a definite bonus...Drogba and Torres will never work together.
Ess Have you got a link, or is it on CTV? Saw him at Wigan last season when we won 6-0...came on for the last 15 minutes...his movement was awesome, changed the game flow entirely and he took his goal well as well...looking forward to him getting a decent run with us
Nice to see Nando on the score sheet albeit in a low profile game. Hopefully with a good pre season under his belt he can kick on come August. Benayoun has been a bit of the forgotten man, I sure he can make an impact next year if he avoids injury.
