Asmir Begovic to #cafc is no longer a goer as financial terms could not be agreed.

 

I think Begovic would have been a good signing. Nathan Jones clearly wanted him . I’d imagine the deal for Begovic was contingent on us shifting the waste of space Fraser off the books to free some money up.

Goalkeeper was clearly a weakness for us last season - is AMB starting at Wigan ?

 

Has Bolder still got his gloves?

 

Begovic five years ago would have been an excellent keeper. But if you talk to QPR fans he is not the Keeper he was. I would much prefer it if the owners put their hands in their pockets and got a Championship keeper at the right age like Walton of Ipswich. Paying a large salary to a 37 year old, to me is wasted money, there is very little resale value.

 

We are interested in Karl Hein he is the third choice Arsenal Goalkeeper. He is also Estonias National Keeper. I think it would be a loan deal.

Mannion seemed decent on Saturday but TBH he was not really tested.

 

You'll be singing a different tune 8.00 Saturday night.

 

I'll be down on the coast on Saturday, so should have stated singing by 8 pm.

 

I predict here & now that we will be forced to give Scott Fraser away to some hell hole of a tin pot Scottish club…but at a huge financial loss to us which means we can’t replace him.

I’d imagine we will loan him out & continue picking up his wages.

 

Fraser will be gone by the end of the week.

 

75% at a guess, I have no problems with a lower league player sticking to a sizeable contract for the individual.
