Apparently Clulis is going to play Butland at left back and hope he does not handle the ball too often

    SIS,

I thought it was the other way round and Bego was replacing Crouch.

Clulis has now changed his mind and will not play Butland at LB Instead he is asking FIFA for special permission to play Bego and Butland in goal together in the hope of drawing every game but putting 3 (so called ) strikers on for the last 5 mins in the hope that we can fluke a goal

Also having two goalies on together will be a precaution in case Walters decides to "bat for the other side" again and gp for a hat trick of OG's

Thanks Smithers Like others at times especially ONB at the moment have become so "depressed" with Pulis's negativity that it is easier to keep quiet which of course in everyday life tends to be why dictators like Pulis survive Until the Revolution

Life out here is difficult because of various problems and looking forward to the games is a relief even though because of poor streaming I have to rely on BBC text on the day and then the disappointment of the majority of our performances. I hate us losing but accept that we can not win every gameHowever it is the reason that we lose I E Pulis's selection and tactics and then his pathetic embarassing excuses

I also feel that my views can not be as valued as those of you loyal regulars who pay hard earned money to watch the lads and therefore have your fingers more on the pulse However as a Stokie for 56 years and a youth training partner of the great Denis Smith I think I know a bit about the game even if it is so different now So from time to time I just settle for reading the regulars excellent comments.

Turning to Saturdays rearguard battle at the Emirates as we all know if you try to simply defend all the game you need luck to survive and what is even more frustrating is that the Readings etc give such games a go because they have nothing to lose and sometimes benefit Ironically Saturday reminded me of a photo in a football annual I had I guess 50 years ago and it was of Arsenil with all 10 outfield players in the 6 yard area Apparently then I think the 1930's they used to defend Pulis style in depth but the diffence is they had people who could actually attack in breakaways and score

Thats enough from me for now and best wishes to all you loyal regulars UTP and KTF
