I think I´d be a bit surprised
If Wesley was let go,
Traditionally in this month
Where transfer news is slow,
And certainly not while the fee
Mentioned is quite that low,
Before the month of January is out

And whether we will see or not
Any new coming in,
If so it´s hard to know just where
Chris Hughton might begin,
Especially as the rumour mill
Is often only spin,
Before the month of January is out

Luciano Becchio we´ve heard
Is one who may well leave,
If true, then both for him and us
It would be some reprieve,
For here, what magic that he has
He´ll find it hard to weave,

And on the sporting front we´ll know
With FA Cup to come,
Whether or not in this fine year
We´re to have a cup run,
Some bosses say their bit on this
While others they stay mum,

While sackings in the Premier League
Have taken off this year,
How many more of them will we
See cause a falling tear,
I hope for all of those concerned

only problem I see with the Wes story he is the player on the club calendar this month and the amount of times that Jonah of a publication brings something to happen to the player featured in the month is more worrying than the utterings of the gutter press
