Manchester - Hate Utd
I would have taken a point before the start of this match but by the end of it i've been left scratching my head as to how we aren't going home with 3 points.

Some lovely play again by (future Chelsea/Man U signings?!) Tiote and Enrique. Another great display by our scouse rock Barton - just a shame the Ref seemed to have some personal vendetta against him and even booked him for trying to keep the ball in play.

Some good saves by their keeper and some lacklustre finishing stopped us from taking maximum points which was disappointing.

However, we played some great football at times, especially in the 2nd half where we dominated play. DOMINATED(!)... I kept waiting for Blackburn to spark into life or for us to make some sort of catastrophic Newcastle mistake...yet neither happened.

It's a shame Kuqi only came on long enough so he could shake hands with his ex team mates. It's a shame Ranger didn't have as much as an impact as he usually does for his 17 minutes. But...it was great to watch us play well.

I fully expected a sucker punch from Blackburn. And at 93 minutes i thought we were going to get hit by it, when they received a free kick just inside our half with their keeper stepping in to pump it into our box for an undeserved winner...but thankfully even the ref knew we deserved at least a point and blew for full time :)

Same referee who was probably Blackburn's best player today, can you explain to me how they get one booking all game, yet Barton gets booked for don't know what, and Tiote the same.
