leaves are changing, the coolness beings to set in, the time for ciders is drawing nigh. What beers do you go for when the fall weather arrives upon you?

Basically help me out for my decisions for the weekend. It will be rainy and cold. <cheers>

  2. My choice doesn't change on the weather. I'm a lager man and never venture too far from a nice cold pint <ok>

I'm not a lager man to be honest but I'll have a few to 'fit in' ... Prefer my spirits :)

But the only beer I drink is Stella <ok>

So if you don't know you get a variety pack but if you don't like a certain one then it is a bit of waste. Anything Oktoberfest I am usually on during this time of year.

I drink very little alcohol,I can go three months or more without a beer.

However, when I do it will be something like a bottle of real ale, proper stuff.

    None of this lager p*ss.

I do love a good ale and lager, not so much the stouts though, guiness is about it in that department.

When it gets colder there is a beer here that is a Scottish Ale and it is called "Robert the Bruce" by Three Floyds. It is dynamite but too much can leave you with a serious serious headache in the morning.

Ha,yeah those stronger ales can catch you out.The Ringwood Brewery produce one called

'Old Thumper' that's caught me out once or twice, about 6%.

The clue's in the name I guess. <cheers>

Straight Morgans Spiced is a bit rough Ze. Bit of coke ice and lemon would be better. Havanna Club would be even better.

Get away from the usual brands and spend a bit more, you may find something you like. Penderyn Welsh Whiskey is getting a good rep cost about £34 a bottle but bloody lovely.

Godfather is even better if you're feeling classy:

    2 shots Scotch,
    2 shots Amaretto..

    on the rocks.

It's not so much the variety or brands, as I said I will have some ( Soco is the best). Too many rough rough nights from high school and college days where the liquor was involved ( rodeo's, police, sick, fights, etc). Good times though. <ok>
