Been Linked With...

...Junior Hoilett, Liam Ridgewell and Jordan Rhodes.

I personally think it would be 3 great captures - Hoilett looks a class act, can play on either wing or up front and has pace and skill to burn. Will only get better aswell.

Ridgewell is a decent defender who is capable of being a goalscoring defender and can play left back aswell as his natural centre back position. Would be good cover.

Rhodes is a player who has really impressed me. He has scored 9 goals in his last 5 games in all competitions and is still only 21. I really think he can make the step up and should not really cost too much money.

What are peoples thoughts if we did sign these players?

 

Would have Hoillet, Ridgwell and instead of Rhodes, I'd rather have Maiga or Cisse.

 

Or what about Rhodes and Maiga?

Lovenkrands, Ranger will be leaving soon and will need to more forwards

Ridgewell IMO is a reliable, versatile and experienced EPL player who will be very good cover for both CB and LB. He's like a poorer mans' Aaron Hughes which isn't that bad to be honest. Plus how much would he cost? 500k at most knowing Birmingham's financial situation? Yeah I'll take him for that. Miles better than Perch.

Hoilett.. quality act. Young, versatile, explosive, pacey, agile, good finisher, good work-rate and has very good dribbling ability. I'll personally play him upfront running in behind defences with Ba ficlking them on. Him, Obertan, Ben Arfa and Ba on the counter would be amazing!

Jordan Rhodes. Yes please.. a very good young English prospect who would cost lesser than a certain Connor W from the next door fel1a5 and has actually scored bags of goals in league 1..

Don't know much about Rhodes to be honest. But it sounds promising by what ya all saying!

 

Our interest in Hoilett seems genuine like. Linked with him every day now, hope we get him!!

Can see someone like Spurs or Liverpool getting him though as they will probably stump up more cash

 

In other news, Titus Bramble has been fined by Sunderland for bringing the clubs name into disrepute lol.

 

Hopefully he'd choose us. Wise choice. We're going places and he'll get more games!!

 

Yep, wouldn't get a game over Lennon and Bale at Spurs. Would maybe get a game for Liverpool like, better than Henderson. Not sure they want him though

Yeah would like Harps to stay as a coach after he retires from playing.

 

I wouldn't be too bothered if all of them left tbh.

Kadar must not be doing to well if he hasn't even got a squad number and I think Harper will want to play on, so probably best if he moves on

Not as much hype as Wickham but yea i would definitely love to have Rhodes here like, i really rate him.

I strongly think Harper will join Brighton permanently, hes come out saying he want to stay longer hasnt he. Will be sad to Loverman go but he deserves to be playing more in his last few years. Smith has sucked us dry for long enough, its about time he went. I've always liked Kadar but obviously something has happened to him behind the scenes, all those injuries and not being thought of in any sort of regards no more.

Also if Pardew is thinking about getting rid of both Harper and Forster, that will only leave us with Krul, Elliott and Soderberg.. I certainly wouldnt trust anyone other than Krul to be between the sticks for us !! So do you think he will bring in a new keeper in January as well then ??

 

I think Pardew rates Elliot so maybe his game against Forest was a one off. He must be decent if he got a 5 year deal. Hopefully Krul won't get injured for us to find out though
