So go on, fill me in. What have i missed? What i gather- schlupp got a hat-trick... poor team or class player? long has gone, keane is the main target have we been linked with anyone else? and also... lets not make this thread about this... but can anyone fill me in on the riots?!?
Welcome back Schlupp took all his goals well and has had rave reviews. Obviously Rotherham are poor but adding it on to his goals and performances last season, people are starting to feel he could play a part this season, including Sven. Some people even think he should start on Saturday. Nobody really knows much more about Keane, we were briefly linked with Miller and Derbyshire but both have gone to Forest. As for the riots, from what I understand it's a bunch of chavvy kids trying to find an excuse for smashing and stealing stuff. Rioting appears to be a new craze spreading around the country, predictably though it was a poor imitation in Leicester and it hasn't effected the football, though a lot of people my age have had their clubbing nights ruined.
miller and derbyshire? Decent pairing for them there, can see them complementing each other well! not sure what to think about keane, looked poor last season... but its keane!!
btw ive just got my reading ticket for my first game of the season... is it worth going to the village and is the stadium atomosphere etc any different to last year?!
The fan village is a waste of time. I went for a looking during the Real Madrid game and its bloody boring
There might be some stuff for Kids but nothing else. Its full of thai dancing, kids rides and a stage not worth going down early
The fans village is nice in the sun IMO cos you can get a beer and mill around with the crowd. But it's mainly for the kids tbf.
