Beefy's Corner - The Off-Topic Chat Thread

The official Off-Topic Chat Thread now known as "Beefy's Corner".

Firstly, the normal rules of the site apply. You cannot start a discussion about contentious issues, Politics, Religion, or show Porn, etc... The flip side of this arrangement is that there will be a much stricter enforcement of the "no going off topic" rule which has always been the case anyway, on the other threads.

Secondly, the normal rules of the Saints board will apply, (except that you can go off-topic obviously). This is not going to become a "private GC Lite." Personal insults will not be tolerated, and neither will goading someone to draw them out. The whole tone of this board has suffered in the past as differing views have been aired and there have been far too many angry exchanges. Vitriolic exchanges are not welcome and will be dealt with as appropriate. If you have fallen out with a poster put him on your ignore list and don't rise to the bait!
If you see content which is not appropriate, please send the mods a PM rather than fronting up the poster and let us deal with it to save a bun-fight. Lastly, if a thread is closed or deleted by one of the Mods, and you have some good reason that it should reopen, then send us a PM with your reasons. Simply re-posting the same thread again to be confrontational would be considered very provocative and would probably lead to action being taken.

It would seem that large numbers of posts and subjects causes problems for mobile phone users to access this site. So from time to time it will be necessary to close the threads down and start a new one.

Indeed. I was 4th and even I don't give one either.

 

Not sure really it was just a lobster cut open an its meat had a sort of masala taste, quite sweet but so delicious

 

Lobster is fantastic.

 

Ah yes, the curried lobster. Was it pink in the shell, in a marsala sauce with pepper and spices sprinkled over it..?

 

Never had lobster.

Was tempted to try it on the cruise a couple of years back as food is all inclusive.

 

If you like seafood try it. It's delicious.

 

Scallops >>> lobster. Lobster is nice, but whole lobster is a lot of work for a merely decent payoff.

 

Lobster Thermidor is amazing. But yeah I agree with Schad scallops are better and squid.

 

True, I personally like lobster a bit more than scallops but scallops involve a lot less work!

 

There were scallops as well! Yeah pretty much TTS, no pepper though.

 

Seafood is okay, but to be fair there's quite a few I've never had.... Scallops, etc. I've tried Mussels but they weren't great. And Lobster seems hard to eat.
