The official Off-Topic Chat Thread now known as "Beefy's Corner".

Firstly, the normal rules of the site apply. You cannot start a discussion about contentious issues, Politics, Religion, or show Porn, etc... The flip side of this arrangement is that there will be a much stricter enforcement of the "no going off topic" rule which has always been the case anyway, on the other threads.

Secondly, the normal rules of the Saints board will apply, (except that you can go off-topic obviously). This is not going to become a "private GC Lite." Personal insults will not be tolerated, and neither will goading someone to draw them out. The whole tone of this board has suffered in the past as differing views have been aired and there have been far too many angry exchanges. Vitriolic exchanges are not welcome and will be dealt with as appropriate. If you have fallen out with a poster put him on your ignore list and don't rise to the bait!
If you see content which is not appropriate, please send the mods a PM rather than fronting up the poster and let us deal with it to save a bun-fight. Lastly, if a thread is closed or deleted by one of the Mods, and you have some good reason that it should reopen, then send us a PM with your reasons. Simply re-posting the same thread again to be confrontational would be considered very provocative and would probably lead to action being taken.

It would seem that large numbers of posts and subjects causes problems for mobile phone users to access this site. So from time to time it will be necessary to close the threads down and start a new one.

Mo Farah has won 5,000m at the World Championships in Moscow to become the second man ever to hold World and Olympic titles in both 5k and 10km.

What's the total post count for each poster over all 21 of Beefy's corners? As Beefy's official accountant I hope you have this information to hand.

Yeah, but if I'd drawn attention to it, that would have killed it.

Thing is, if you go on iPlayer LIVE, in this case BBC2, you can play back the last two hours by moving the cursor back to the start. Easy peasy and a lot of people forget it. If you're correct about the channel, I'm off to watch Mo win.

    EDIT: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/tv/bbc_two_england/watchlive

Quick, you've got less than 2 hours to watch the full race.

EDIT: Blimey, that was a good race.

Someone was crowding in with others as Mo Farah came to the grandstand, trying to see him. Then she decided to get an enormous iPad out and try to get herself in its picture alongside Mo. Thankfully, she was waved off by photographers. In turning around to get herself in her own video, she missed the occasion of looking directly at her hero, and in doing so, missed the crucial moment entirely.

Yep, I'm one of those people that forget you can do that. Thanks for the reminder, and the link. Going to watch it right about...now.
