Always had a soft spot for Coventry, wonder what will happen to them now? Also so glad SISU didn't buy us.

Just had to chuckle. Was trying to find news of Deano, and caught a picture of him in last season's home pinstripes. Now there's a reasonably good looking kit..! :)

What's the old saying..? Be careful what you wish for..? You end up with big hankies on the sleeves. <laugh>

I loved the pinstripes, one of my favourite Saints kits along with the solid red sleeved one from the season we went down.

Yeah, it wasn't spectacularly great, but on the whole I liked it too. The socks were iffy, but now they are abysmal. There were many people who hated the lack of equal sized stripes on last season's kit though. And look what happened..!
I thought last seasons home was one of our best tbh. But then I don't like the whole red and white stripes, I find them boring. This seasons away kit is probably one of my fave Saints away kits. There's no point in talking about the home we all know how each other feels.

I was talking about last season's home kit as a whole. The pinstriped shirt I really liked. I don't like hoops on any part of a kit unless they are on the shirt only, and of course, that is the province of Reading, QPR, Celtic, etc, so it doesn't affect us.

And yes, while I loathe this season's home kit, I feel a little bit better about the away one. I think I've made my personal views clear before about how I think footballers should look on the pitch and how that affects the supporters and the general club morale. We had a clear example of what I mean when Saints played away in the 3rd/Brazil kit in the last couple of seasons. Supporters adored it because the lads looked superb in it.

I never really look at the full kit, the shirt is the only thing that interests me. Long as the shorts and socks match and aren't in a weird pattern I don't mind.

I don't mind the socks, but then I'd never buy Saints socks anyways.
