A bump after only 5 posts TSS? You're like a toddler who gets ignored and then starts repeating himself louder and louder until someone pays attention!
I personally didn't follow his career after he left us (Just googled him to see the degree to which he has bounced around, wowzers) but I know he's on Twitter, he frequently tweets about/to the club and seems to support us from afar. Not sure how much he was following us down in L1 and the Championship though the plastic glory-hunting bastard!
Anyone see that Anders Svensson is playing against Celtic tonight. So is an English striker playing for Elfsborg.
Isn't he on loan from Celtic, or is that someone else?

All I remember of Griffit was that he came on as a sub in a home game against Newcastle, scored what we thought was the winner in the closing minutes to put us ahead 4:3 only for Newcastle to equalise moments later. Great game. I remember Folly being more of a prospect then Griffit.
I looked Folly up after the discussion earlier and according to wikipedia he's had to retire at 27 because of chronic pulmonary embolism!

Yeah, so did I. Provoked me searching into his condition too. Then I went and looked up Jhon Viafara, Youssef Safri, Peter Madsen, Grzegorz Rasiak, Mario Licka, Djamel Belmadi, Marek Saganowski, Kamil Kosowski and I didn't stop until I arrived at Inigo Idiakez. Of course, there was always Stern John and several others I forget or just don't want to remember. I liked some, but I always knew they were footballers who weren't going to be hanging around. Mercenaries is an ugly term for them, but some of them definitely were. I link them with Saints in the wilderness years when, despite whatever success, or lack of it, was being managed on the field, the in-fighting in the boardroom was gradually squeezing the life out of the club. The one player amongst them, Marek Saganowski, I was genuinely sad to see leave because I knew he loved it on the South Coast. He managed to be around for the start of the new era in League One.

EDIT: And when are we going to sign Rudi Skacel..?![]()
Saga was crap for us, save for his initial loan spell, and then the first few games after he came back from Aalborg.
Correct. Folly works in Sports Direct in Sheffield now.
Thank you for that contribution from reality. It may be so but I liked him as a player, GBS. There's no logic in my list.
I have all the team photo posters from the last four seasons, in the first of the "new era" with Nic and Markus on it, Saga is there but Rasiak isn't. I can remember Rasiak being around too, but I have photo evidence Saga was!I thought Saga went before the season. Raziak was definately here. I remember Pardew warming him up as a sub away at Swindon then I think putting him on for about 1 minute.
