Beefy's Corner - The Off-Topic Chat Thread

The official Off-Topic Chat Thread now known as "Beefy's Corner".
Firstly, the normal rules of the site apply. You cannot start a discussion about contentious issues, Politics, Religion, or show Porn, etc... The flip side of this arrangement is that there will be a much stricter enforcement of the "no going off topic" rule which has always been the case anyway, on the other threads.

Secondly, the normal rules of the Saints board will apply, (except that you can go off-topic obviously). This is not going to become a "private GC Lite." Personal insults will not be tolerated, and neither will goading someone to draw them out. The whole tone of this board has suffered in the past as differing views have been aired and there have been far too many angry exchanges. Vitriolic exchanges are not welcome and will be dealt with as appropriate. If you have fallen out with a poster put him on your ignore list and don't rise to the bait!
If you see content which is not appropriate, please send the mods a PM rather than fronting up the poster and let us deal with it to save a bun-fight. Lastly, if a thread is closed or deleted by one of the Mods, and you have some good reason that it should reopen, then send us a PM with your reasons. Simply re-posting the same thread again to be confrontational would be considered very provocative and would probably lead to action being taken.

It would seem that large numbers of posts and subjects causes problems for mobile phone users to access this site. So from time to time it will be necessary to close the threads down and start a new one.

No gold for me this time round. Going to Germany for a week tomorrow

 

Can't believe a new Beefy's has come round so soon.

 

I'm a miserable failure.

 

At some point, if I get really bored (which is likely as I can't leave the house with my hayfever as bad as it is) I'll do an overall Beefy's tally to see who the overall leader is. What a good day that will be.

 

9 days is all it took. Not the shortest time, IIRC either.

Me too! It actually had me totally incapacitated on Saturday so I went to bed.

 

A spoon full of honey a day in the summer will sort that out.

 

New episode of Skins is on tonight if anyone is interested. Effy is back

 

Not watched Skins since the first season. It bored me so couldn't be arsed watching any more.

 

Does that help when the hayfever infects your skin to?

 

I heard it has to be local honey. Might have to hit the farmers' market whenever that is.

She'd get it. Might check it out on 4OD at some point.

 

It's fantastic if you properly get into it, I'd recommend giving it another go if you've got some time on your hands.

 

I've never been a fan of Skins. I quite fancy the Frankie character, but I'm told that's weird

 

Think the whole new cast put me off watching any more tbh.

 

Was in london today and I saw a girl that looked like Khaleesi. She was stunning, had to stop myself drooling.

 

She's certainly quirky. ****er of a character though.

Fair enough Beefy the constant changing of casts can get annoying.
