There you go. A fresh one. Now read/post on...

    Oops, forgot this bit...

The official Off Topic Chat Thread now known as "Beefy's Corner".

Firstly, the normal rules of the site apply. You cannot start a discussion about contentious issues, Politics, Religion, or show Porn Etc. The flip side of this arrangement is that there will be a much stricter enforcement of the "no going off topic" rule which has always been the case anyway, on the other threads.

Secondly, the normal rules of the Saints board will apply, (except that you can go off-topic obviously). This is not going to become a "private GC Lite." Personal insults will not be tolerated, and neither will goading someone to draw them out. The whole tone of this board has suffered in the past as differing views have been aired and there have been far too many angry exchanges. Vitriolic exchanges are not welcome and will be dealt with as appropriate. If you have fallen out with a poster put him on your ignore list and don't rise to the bait!
If you see content which is not appropriate, please send the mods a PM rather than fronting up the poster and let us deal with it to save a bun-fight. Lastly, if a thread is closed or deleted by one of the Mods, and you have some good reason that it should reopen, then send us a PM with your reasons. Simply re-posting the same thread again to be confrontational would be considered very provocative and would probably lead to action being taken.

It would seem that large numbers of posts and subjects causes problems for mobile phone users to access this site.
So from time to time it will be necessary to close the threads down and start a new one.
We need you guys to let us know when the site becomes difficult to access so that we do not change over unnecessarily.

    Right. Now carry on...

Joe wins again, is that 3-0 or 4-0? Very close this time - 187 plays Fran's 183. I think it was only tonight that Joe actually clinched it.

Dramatic late surge for the title. Fran was sure she'd won it with all her cricket and tennis related posts, but I pipped her to the post with some **** about taxi drivers.

In other news, I love Point Lookout.

Carrying over from Beefy's previous thread...

Yep, Shake Away is a chain. There's one in Southampton and Plymouth that I've seen. I haven't had one since my youthful College days, but they were very nice as milkshakes go and there's lots of weird and wonderful varieties.

After a poor 16th place and 40 posts in Beefs old corner, I aim to be much more productive in his new corner.

Not much is known, but Bethesda employees have apparently been seen mapping out parts of Boston, which makes sense because MIT is in Boston and is mentioned a few times in the storyline.

Can't wait until it comes out really into Bordelands2 atm but it's getting kinda boring. Dead Space 3 is out soon tho so will probably buy that, then it will be the next gen consoles.

They say Fallout 4 is a pretty direct sequel to 3.

I actually preferred New Vegas because I'm a pain in the arse. Need to play Fallout 3 again though because I've not actually played the DLCs.

I would still be playing it if my PS3 hadn't broke for 4th time so I switched to Xbox360. Now just can't be arsed to buy it again as I don't really have time anyways.

I probably prefer New Vegas as well, because the storyline is a bit cooler, there's more civilisation and you can mod your weapons. Other than Tranquility Lane, which was incredible, I found the main quest in Fallout 3 a little dull. I've been playing Point Lookout for the last couple of days though, and it's great.

This is Beefy III....I think it gets too cumbersome so they have to start a new thread.

Is anyone else listening intently to Poch when he speaks Spanish. I think it will be a race to see if he learns English before we learn Spanish:laugh:

I think it's Beefy IV and we had a pre-cursor to Beefy. But I may be wrong.
