Bit bored and couldn't sleep so made the mistake of going onto Saints Forum. I thought they were having a laugh and doing a spoof of a mad football forum, then I scanned back and realised they were being serious. I know we are perhaps a bit too positive on here, but some on there are so far the other way...we apparently have poor medical facilities, Cortese will be rolled over in negotiations because he's an accountant, Les Reed is not doing a good job running the academy (this is because Charlton fans don't like him!!), and so on. Someone suggested Gareth Southgate for manager (that one is so off the wall, it must be a joke but I'm not sure). I haven't signed up to reply as I feel it is the road to madness, though I have to admit that they would probably feel the same about our generally happy brood.
If you do sign up Fran, I think you get an automatic prescription for anti-depressants. It's not a place I venture onto very often, but I always feel better afterwards because no matter how low I am feeling about Saints, I know there are always people out there who are feeling worse than me. It puts things into perspective for me.
I agree that we do tend to be on the more positive side on here, but there does seem to be a reasonable mixture of views on Not606, and the discussions are often interesting rather than being an unending football version of the Dark Night of the Soul

Probably took his "trying to upset people" routine too far and accidentally dropped in an insult. I struggle to believe his opinions are anything more than deliberately antagonistic - to be so incredibly contrary so often is more than coincidence.
England set a good target of 326 for India. India then started hitting us all over the ground...now we've just got 2 quick wickets. India 102-2. Come on, England!
England need to get some more wickets though...we hit out at the end because we had wickets in hand.

Yeah, I hate it when quality FM players turn out to be pricks in real life. It makes me feel bad about signing them.
