Thank god that awful day is done
    Where panic buys set in,
We´ll not know yet just who has won
Or if our squad´s too thin

There have been those who´ve gone shopping
As though the world would end,
To try and prevent them dropping
And turned to spend and spend

    Already today, those we meet
    Have recruited a few,
But finding success with their feet
    Is sometimes hard to do

    Important for us yesterday
Was not to let folk go,
And even Wes, who had his say
May yet get one more throw

    With players also coming back
    From their long lay-offs too,
It should ensure no-one gets slack
    As the season goes through

    I also disagree with those
Who would stoke up the fire,
And assume the cash vault was closed
    As Hughton´s on the wire

If only Howson could be quit
    Of his back problem soon,
The puzzle pieces then would fit
    Well before we reach June

So fingers crossed and toes as well
    This afternoon in Wales,
That we can conjure up a spell
    So Gunnar Solskjær fails. OTBC

Nice one RBF, no doubt, like me, you have been reading the outer's reports that we're doomed because we haven't spent several millions on several players and so we will definitely be relegated! <doh>

Probably comparing us to some other ´relegation´ candidates Dave, I´ll reserve judgement until the May blossom is well and truly out, but certainly not all that glistens is necessarily gold.
