Well I am sorry to have to report that Beddytare has decided to stand down as a Mod on the Saints board as of today. Beddy has been on the Saints Not606 board since it started and has seen the site flourish into, in my opinion, the best Saints forum on the web. This is in no small part due to his efforts. On a personal note, I would like to express my gratitude for all his help and advice over the last year. Finding one person to fill his boots would be very difficult, so two have been appointed! I would like to thank Qwerty and TheSecondStain, who have agreed to become Mods on our board. They are about to find out where the expression, "thankless task" originated. But hold the phone! Don't forget that Beddy is like all Mods, a poster first and a Mod second. He's not going anywhere and you will still be able to read his wit and wisdom!
Sorry to hear Beddy is standing down, thanks for all the hard work mate, and enjoy being an "ordinary" poster! You should start a maths thread! Great choice of replacements too, both among the most level headed members of this board, and I'm really not trying to curry favour!
Thanks Beddytare for all your efforts. Apologies for anytime that I have risen to the bait and joined in with the childish stuff - it's hard not to sometimes. I think you have done a great job in a tough and as Channon says "thankless task". I'll certainly get down for that beer.
Yes Gom would have got my vote too, nothing like putting a poacher in as a gamekeeper! Many thanks Beddy for putting up with my nonsense over the time I have been on here.
I hope he wasn't given a three day notice to quit, nobody in their right minds would do a thing like that.
I'm firmly with Channon in expressing my personal gratitude to Beddy. We will miss him. But welcome aboard TSS and Qwerty.
Thanks Beddy. Always hugely popular with 98% of the posters on here. The other 3% don't count as you banned them.....
I thought this would happen once I heard he was being head hunted by the Diplomatic Corps and the Office for National Statistics. He will be a hard act to follow but I am sure Qwerty and TSS will give it their best shot. Good luck to them both and many thanks for taking on the task.
