This mornings reports suggest that David Beckham is to be knighted.
If this is true then the UK's honours system is going to be a massive laughing stock for knighting a squeaky voiced skirt wearing halfwit. To balance it out, they are going to have to finally knight Kenny Dalglish who is more than deserving of such an honour.

Becks a Knight, or as he spells it 'nite'

    Dear Lord!

If he does I hope he receives it in his dress he wore a few years ago, just to accentuate the ridiculousness of the whole affair

Becks is not a bad guy, poor twat had his life run by Fergie and then Posh. A sucker, a rich sucker but s sucker nonetheless

There won't be a proposal for Fergie to be made a lord until the next general election.Thats when Labour will need money, and seeing as Baconface is their number 1 contributor then thats when the proposal will be made.

To be fair Beckham has been a great inspiration for children and a great model professional and ambassador to English football. People have been knighted for less.

Do i think he should become a Sir? No (maybe in the future if he carries on working with children and charities etc)

He's been such an inspiration to young kids<laugh>
He's taught them that they don't need an education to succeed. They can become millionaires with an IQ OF 4.
He's taught the younger generation that its acceptable to give your kids stupid names. His last child sounds like a sun-cream.

At least he's being honoured for more than just being good at his job the way Fergie was. As a man, Beckham is a credit to the game; Fergie is an embarrassment.

Beckham is a ponce with a capital p.
He's taught youngsters that its okay for blokes to wear make-up and nail-polish and skirts.
He's thicker than two short planks. And the proof is the time he got ''Volatile'' and ''Versatile'' mixed up,not mentioning the time he came up with this beauty.

His name and possibly money are doing work, when you ccnsider so many millions do this day in day out 5 6 7 days a week for little or no cash and no Knighthood and david puts in minimal time in comparison, erm... no.

If he quits the super celeb life and dedicates himself to his cause them I say yes.

Those who work 5 day a week jobs have kids to actually raise themselves and still do charity work deserve it more if you ask me

Anderson has one talent and thats his incredible ability to pass the ball to the opposition.
If Beckham is knighted it will be on the list of most undeserving knighthoods that includes.
    Bobby Charlton.
    Alex Ferguson.
    Trevor Brooking.
    Cliff Richard.
    Elton John.

    I would agree with this.

He does a massive amount of charity work and represents this country in a fine way.

He has academy's improving the development of young people, and is a massive money maker.

He's done very well for himself, and I was proud when he captained England.

He put his heart and sole into - we'v had no-one since who's done that.

    Fair play.
